Minor in Photography
Who is this program for?
A minor in photography is perfect for students passionate about visual storytelling, artistic expression, and capturing moments through the lens. It prepares students for careers in photojournalism, commercial photography, advertising, digital media, or roles in art galleries, publishing, and media production. Students will gain critical skills for succeeding in today’s world, including the ability to work with still and moving images using the latest software.
Program Overview
The Photography Minor includes courses that range from 19th century methods and darkroom photography up to the latest digital technologies. Students will have the opportunity to gain skills in studio lighting, film phtography and the latest professional software.
