A minor in music is ideal for students passionate about music theory, performance, and composition, who want to enhance their creativity and technical skills. It supports careers in music performance, education, music production, sound design, or roles in the entertainment and media industries.
Program Overview
The Music Minor is an excellent option for students from any college to continue with playing an instrument or vocal performance without a major in the School of Music. Students may concentrate on either Music Performance or Music Theory and History. An audition is required for students pursuing the Music Performance track.
