What You'll Learn
The Geography program offers both a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree, allowing students to tailor their studies based on their academic interests and career goals. The BA option emphasizes human geography, global issues, and the social dimensions of space and place, offering flexibility to explore interdisciplinary subjects. The BS option includes a stronger focus on technical and analytical skills, with additional coursework in areas like physical geography, geospatial technologies, and environmental science. Application Requirements
Completed applications include an official high school transcript, application fee ($50 domestic/$60 international) and optional official ACT/SAT score (the University of Kentucky is test-optional for admission and scholarships through the 2028-29 academic year).
