The Entomology specialization focuses on the biology and impact of insects, from ecosystems to food systems, offering research and observation-based learning. Admission Requirements

- Test Scores (optional): ACT or SAT scores can be submitted but are not required for university admission.
Any "Program Specific Requirements" that display below are specific to the program and will be required for admission to the program.
Application Requirements
Completed applications include an official high school transcript, application fee ($50 domestic/$60 international) and optional official ACT/SAT score (the University of Kentucky is test-optional for admission and scholarships through the 2028-29 academic year).
Program Specific Requirements
- Only students who have earned a minimum of 60 credit hours are admissible into the Agriculture Individualized Programs/Curriculum major.
- Students must NOT have already earned a bachelor's degree.
- Students in this program may not double major or double degree, though minors and certificates are acceptable.
- Permission to enroll in the online option of the major will only be granted in cases where there is a reasonable expectation that the student will be able to complete their degree requirements through online instruction.
- The student must meet with the Director of Undergraduate Studies for Agriculture Individualized Curriculum following application submission to determine eligibility.
