Graduate Certificate (Graduate Certificate) in Advanced Specialty Program in Endodontics
Who is this program for?
This specialty post-master's program prepares professionals to practice endodontics at a high level and contribute to the profession and specialty through teaching, research, and service.
Program Overview
The certificate program is a full-time 24-month program consisting of didactic, clinical, teaching, and research components. There are three (3) graduate student openings per year. Completion of the program will produce graduates with specialty training in the areas of non-surgical and surgical management of endodontic disease. The program's facilities are located inside the College of Dentistry's Dental Science Building on UK's main campus.
Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate student will receive a certificate to practice the specialty of endodontics and meets eligibility requirements for the American Board of Endodontists examination.

Program Specific Requirements
The following items will need to be completed and submitted via PASS:
- Three (3) letters of recommendation, one of which should be from an endodontic faculty member or endodontist familiar with your previous clinical and/or didactic endodontic accomplishments.
- Curriculum Vitae
- Optional 2 X 2 photo
- Statement of intent. Why are you applying for training in Endodontics?
The official deadline for submission of applications is July 1 for the class matriculating the following summer.
Interviews with UKCD endodontic faculty are limited in number and granted only when all documents have been received. There will be two (2) dates for interviews selected.
