AUPHA Certified
The University of Kentucky Clinical Leadership & Management Program is a Full Certified Undergraduate Program through the Association of University Programs in Health Administration (AUPHA). AUPHA Certified Undergraduate programs are recognized for having withstood the rigors of peer review in which curricula, faculty, and educational outcomes are critically examined. External stakeholders look at certification as a way to distinguish a program from its peers. The initial certification was granted in 2024.
EEQ Certification
Essential Employability Qualities Certification (EEQ CERT) is granted by The Quality Assurance Commons for Postsecondary Education after a rigorous process of external and independent review. EEQ Certified programs foster a distinctive set of attributes in their graduates. These qualities are intended to prepare graduates to make important contributions in their workplaces.
The eight Essential Employability Qualities are communication, thinking and problem solving, inquiry, collaboration, adaptability, principles and ethics, responsibility and professionalism, and learning.
Programs participating in EEQ CERT are scored on five categories that represent a comprehensive and integrated framework for employability - Graduate EEQ Preparation, Career Support Services, Employer Engagement, Student and Alumni Engagement, and Public Information.

Admission Requirements

- Test Scores (optional): ACT or SAT scores can be submitted but are not required for university admission.
Any "Program Specific Requirements" that display below are specific to the program and will be required for admission to the program.
Application Requirements
Completed applications include an official high school transcript, application fee ($50 domestic/$60 international) and optional official ACT/SAT score (the University of Kentucky is test-optional for admission and scholarships through the 2028-29 academic year).
Program Specific Requirements
Admission to CLM is a selective process. Students are evaluated holistically on GPA, test scores, leadership, extracurricular involvement, and fit for the CLM program, as evidenced by essay responses. The minimum GPA for consideration is 2.8, but meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission to the program.
Please note, during the UK admission process, you may be admitted to UK through your secondary major of interest for expediency in responding to your application. If you meet the minimum requirements, you will still be reviewed by our selective admission committee. Students who do not meet the minimum requirements are not reviewed by our selective admissions committee.
