A bachelor's degree in STEM Education is perfect for students who are passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists, engineers, and innovators through engaging and hands-on learning experiences. Program Overview

The STEM Education program prepares students to teach grades 8-12 in their chosen content area, including mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, or earth science. You will earn a double major in STEM Education and your selected content area. The program provides hands-on experience starting in your first year with a unique transdisciplinary approach to teacher education. Students will complete 200 hours of classroom observations, followed by a full semester of student teaching.

The Bachelor of Science in STEM Education focuses on developing deep content knowledge in a chosen STEM discipline while gaining expertise in instructional methods, curriculum design, and classroom management. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on teaching experience, culturally responsive practices, and evidence-based strategies to support diverse learners and foster engagement in STEM subjects.
