Who is this program for?
A bachelor's degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) is ideal for students interested in improving information systems, applying or drafting technology policy, managing data or communication, and enhancing organizational efficiency. Students will be equipped with expertise in implementing technology solutions while considering the human and social impacts of technology. Students pursue a range of ICT-related goals and by graduation will be prepared to apply skills and technologies related to network administration, cybersecurity, IT project management, web development, or other focus areas.
Program Overview
ICT students gain real-world knowledge and skills needed to effectively apply, use, and manage technology when solving problems specifically related to information and communication. Classes provide a human and organizational focus on technology, teaching students how to be effective evaluators and users of technology. Students who major in ICT will be prepared to be the communication link between people, organizations, and technologies.

Completed applications include an official high school transcript, application fee ($50 domestic/$60 international) and optional official ACT/SAT score (the University of Kentucky is test-optional for admission and scholarships through the 2028-29 academic year).
