Kentucky Board of Nursing Registered nursing (RN) licensure in Kentucky: Graduate students enrolled in the Post-BSN Option of the PhD or DNP programs are required to be licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in Kentucky to complete advanced practice clinical rotations. Licensure is regulated by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (KBN).
Licensure of Foreign Educated Nurses Graduates of Foreign Schools of Nursing are required by KBN to complete the Commission of Graduates of Foreign Schools of Nursing (CGNFS) VISASCREEN certificate option.
University of Kentucky Writing Service and ESL courses
All registered nurse applicants (RN-A) must complete a 120-hour clinical internship before they can receive an unrestricted RN license in Kentucky.
