The directors and faculty associates of the Center for Biobehavioral Research on Self-Management are committed to the conduct of rigorous research that provides a strong scientific foundation for the promotion of patient self-management. Our goal is to improve patient self-management among those with chronic illnesses, particularly cardiovascular and pulmonary conditions, and thereby improve health outcomes.
