Clinical Course Requirements

Undergraduate Students

All immunization and TB testing documentation, proof of nurse aide training (copy of certificate) , CPR certification (copy of both sides of the certification card) and completion of HIPAA training on Blackboard must be turned in to the College of Nursing Student Services Office by August 8 for fall admits and December 12 for spring admits. Continuing students update every May – by the end of finals week so that they are compliant for the entire academic year.

In order to progress, students must earn a grade of "C" or higher in all NUR courses. Grades lower than "C" must be repeated and progression will be altered by the Admission and Progression Committee. This applies to clinical and didactic courses.

Graduate Students

Graduate nursing students who have direct care clinicals, immunization documentation must be on file with the College of Nursing Student Services Office before clinical courses begin. Proof of RN licensure must also be on file.

Students must earn a minimum grade of “B” in any course with a clinical component.
