UKCRO/GCRC Clinical Research Updates

The UKCRO and GCRC Clinical Research Update (CRU) Series is
co-sponsored by the UK Clinical Research Organization and General Clinical Research Center. It consists of eight brown-bag workshops on various clinical research topics. Continuing nursing education credit is provided. Because the series is accredited, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and Society for Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) accepts these programs for certification maintenance.

When: Monthly (third Thursday)

Time: 11 a.m.-noon

Where: HG611 UK Hospital Auditorium

Purpose: To keep staff updated on clinical practice guidelines, current tools and resources for successful clinical trial management, and provide opportunities for networking and team building

Target audience: Nurse researchers, research coordinators, staff and investigators directly involved in conducting clinical trials
Disclosure: Speaker disclosures will be given before each presentation.

Contact Hours: 1.0 ANCC and 1.2 KBN contact hours

Cost: Free

Requirements for credit: In order to receive credit, participants attend the entire CNE activity and submit a credit application and evaluation form online. Certificates may be printed once the evaluation is completed.
