Founder's Day Reception Celebrates Beginnings of College of Nursing

President Lee Todd and First Lady Patsy Todd hosted a Founder's Day reception for the College of Nursing at the president's campus home, Maxwell Place. The evening reception was enjoyed by the College's external advisory board, donors, campus dignitaries and members of the original team that helped to establish the Colleges of Nursing and Medicine on September 23, 1960.

Drs. Winternitz and Todd received framed certificates in appreciation for all the work they have done on behalf of the College of Nursing.

Celebrating the Future of Nursing Scholarship Brunch

Donors who have established endowments or are currently providing scholarships for students joined us in September 2011 for our fourth annual Scholarship Reception and Brunch. This event, held in 2011 at The Red Mile's Round Barn, allowed us to celebrate nursing’s future with donors, their families and those who benefit from their generosity. The event was hosted by the University of Kentucky College of Nursing and emeritae faculty.
