Dear Fellow Alumni Members,

It is an honor and a pleasure to begin my two-year term as president of the UK College of Nursing Alumni Association. This is a group of dynamic nurses who make a difference in the lives of the communities they serve.  I would like to give special thanks to Patty Hughes and the executive committee for providing leadership and commitment to our alumni association during 2009-2011.

The new executive board officers for 2011-2013 are:

As the new term begins, the 2011-2013 executive committee members have begun planning activities for the upcoming term. 

The College of Nursing welcomes Aimee Baston as the alumni and development officer. We look forward to working with her.

We were pleased to recognize Laura Hieronymus, MSN, RN, and Marian Roman PhD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, as Outstanding Alumni, for their many contributions to the field of nursing during Homecoming 2011 festivities during October 2011.

December graduates will be welcomed into the College of Nursing Alumni Association as they are pinned on December 16, 2011.  We would love to see you at the BSN Pinning Ceremony and future alumni functions to reconnect with your classmates and network with others.

The next full alumni association board meeting will be held on
Sat., Feb. 11, 2012, in the College of Nursing conference room (315 T) at
